There’s a huge motorcycle show in Toronto this weekened with a Mark Wahlberg connection

3 January 2024002 Mins Read

A huge motorcycle show is taking place in Toronto this weekend and you may just stumble upon an unexpected tie to Mark Wahlberg while you’re there.

The 2024 Winter Motorcycle Supershow is set to return to the city this weekend, running from Jan. 5 – 7, and it’ll feature everything motorcyclists and fans alike could possibly dream of, including bike demos, vendors, and even live music performances.

The show, which takes place at The International Centre, is to bikers what the AutoShow is to car lovers — presenting the opportunity not only to buy gear and watch demonstrations, but also to connect with fellow motorcycle buffs.

“The Supershow isn’t just a motorcycle show,” reads an endorsement on the event’s website — “[i]t’s the big social event of the ‘off-season’ for motorcyclists.”

This year’s show will host a number of events, including showcases (featuring choppers, custom bikes, vintage and classic bikes, and race bikes), stunt and motorcross shows, a used bike market, and live music performances from local and cover bands.

One notable demonstration will be by Keith Sayers, a stunt biker who can be seen crashing through a billboard in Mark Wahlberg’s new movie The Family Plan.

The show also hosts the Canada Cup Competition, where bike makers display their creations in hopes of winning $50,000 in cash and prizes.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan.7. Tickets, priced at $25, are on sale now through Eventbrite, but can also be purchased at the gate.

And if you can’t make it this time around but still want your fill of all things motorbike, there’s also a spring show coming up on April 6 and 7 of this year.
